The trigger is a wheel bolted to a beatdown clock: connect once, dump whatever you're holding, and refill by artifact count rather than by a fixed number. That construction ties the card's payoff to two axes that don't usually share a chassis. The discard-and-draw only pays off if your hand is worse than the artifacts on your board, and the refill only pays off if you've built an artifact-dense battlefield in the first place. A Vehicle is the natural home for that logic, since the Vehicle itself counts toward the draw, as does whatever equipment, treasures, and mana rocks you've deployed to power an artifact deck. Crew 3 sets the cost of animation without pinning it to a single creature, so the body can come online off one large blocker or a pile of small ones. The 4/4 frame matters here because the whole engine is gated behind connecting: the card has to survive a swing and land the hit before it does anything, which is a real constraint on a permanent that is inert until crewed and inert again if it's chump-blocked. It rewards a board already committed to artifacts and punishes a hand you were reluctant to spend, an unusual pairing to find on one card, and a sharper design than the raw stat line suggests.
