Intangible Virtue
The token-swarm payoff that turned a pile of 1/1s into a clock. A board of Lingering Souls spirits or Raise the Alarm soldiers is a fine chump-blocking wall on its own; this enchantment converts that wall into a lethal attack and removes the usual cost of swinging. Two mana for a static anthem is cheap, but the design choice that defines it is the vigilance rider: most anthem effects (Glorious Anthem, Honor of the Pure) make tokens bigger and leave you choosing between attacking and holding back. Granting vigilance erases that choice, so the whole swarm pressures the opponent's life total and still answers the crackback. The restriction is what keeps it pointed: only tokens get the boost, so it does nothing in a deck of hardcast creatures and everything in a deck whose threats arrive five and six at a time off a single spell. It rewards a build where the bodies are free, then makes the free bodies do double duty as attackers and blockers in the same turn cycle. That narrowness is what buys the rate, and it is exactly why the card has stayed a fixture of go-wide white strategies rather than a generic curve-filler.
