The price of a global anthem is usually the body you have to commit to play it. Crusade asked the same two mana decades earlier and pumped white creatures across both sides of the table; the symmetry was a real cost in a mirror or against another white deck. The refinement here is small and total: the bonus applies only to white creatures you control, turning a symmetrical effect into a one-sided one without raising the rate. That "you control" clause is what makes a permanent anthem at this cost reasonable rather than dangerous. The buff also sidesteps the central weakness of every lord creature: it lives in the enchantment slot, so a board wipe that clears your team leaves the bonus intact for everything that follows, and there is no creature for spot removal to peel off the top of your curve. The constraint that keeps it honest is color, not power level. It does nothing for a token swarm of colorless artifact creatures or a splash of off-color threats; it rewards a deck that has already paid the deckbuilding tax of committing hard to white. Within that discipline it scales with width: every additional one-drop becomes a two-power threat, and the math compounds as the board grows. The lineage of static team-pumping enchantments runs straight through this card, and the one-sided clause is the refinement that finally made the archetype clean.
