Inkmoth Nexus
The genius of the design is that it folds an entire win condition into a land slot, then charges almost nothing to access it. A manland that taps for colorless and turns into a flier is unremarkable on its own; the word "infect" is what sets this one apart. Because poison counters accumulate independently of life total and ten of them ends the game, a single evasive 1/1 with infect is a slow clock on its own, but the body almost never connects unpumped: a single Become Immense or Vines of Vastwood collapses ten counters into a turn or two of poison that no amount of lifegain can interrupt. The land typing does the real defensive work. It dodges every removal spell that targets creatures while it sits inert, only becoming a creature in response to whatever window you choose, then reverting at end of turn. That timing flexibility is why it survived removal suites where ordinary infect creatures got swept away, and it threads the resilience needle for combo-aggro shells: it cannot be Thoughtseized off your hand, it sits in the manabase producing colorless on quiet turns, and it converts a flooded draw into lethal reach. The result is the rare manland whose activation is not a value play but a kill, the difference between a stalled board and a poisoned opponent decided by one floating mana.
