Immersturm Predator

The engine here runs on a self-tapping loop that most graveyard-hate creatures never had the tools to close. The exile-and-grow trigger fires on becoming tapped, not on attacking, which means the sacrifice ability is not just a defensive trick: sacking a creature grants indestructibility and taps the Predator, and that tap resolves the graveyard-exile trigger and the +1/+1 counter for free. Feed it fodder and it grows, clears a target from an opposing yard, and shrugs off the board wipe or blocker that was supposed to punish the attack, all off a single activation. That the sacrifice is instant-speed matters: an opponent who commits removal in combat finds a target that cannot die and a threat that got bigger in response. Vampire Dragon is a rare type pairing, and the design leans into both halves: the aristocrat's appetite for bodies to sacrifice, and the evasive, ever-growing beater that flying and a counter engine want to be. The fuel cost is the brake. Every activation eats one of your own creatures, so the loop only spins as fast as your board can afford to lose, and against an empty battlefield the sacrifice line simply isn't available. It rewards a deck already built to churn through small creatures, converting each one into evasive damage and graveyard disruption at once.
