A silver bullet that plays like a full-stop. The lifelinking evasive body is almost incidental: what the card actually does is switch off the entire enters-the-battlefield and dies-trigger economy that so much of modern Magic is built on. The lock is symmetrical, and that is precisely the cost of admission: it does not care whose creatures are entering or dying, so it punishes the owner's own value engines as readily as the opponent's. That constraint dictates the home. This is built for decks that already win through combat and lifegain rather than triggers, so the tax lands entirely across the table. The reach is broad in a way a single static line undersells: it neutralizes token-death payoffs, blink loops, sacrifice aristocrats, and every "when this creature enters" value staple at once, without targeting anything or sitting on the stack where it could be answered on the way in. Because the effect is a continuous state rather than a triggered or activated one, opponents cannot let it resolve and then respond; they have to remove the Faerie itself, and until they do, their whole game plan is running with the wires cut. What sets it apart from the wider hatebear tradition is that it answers a strategy rather than a card, and few effects that do so shut off as much surface area for as little mana as this one.
