Hinterland Sanctifier

Creature — Rabbit ClericWhite mana

Lifegain priced at the absolute floor, tuned so that only your own creatures feed it: each body you deploy adds a point, converting a go-wide sequence into an incidental buffer without asking for a card or a mana in the chain. The gain per creature is trivial in isolation; what accumulates is the running total across a turn spent flooding the battlefield. This is the passive-lifegain payoff refined toward one side of the table. Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant are the ancestors, gaining on any creature that enters from any player; here the trigger is walled off to your own side in exchange for a 1/2 that pulls real weight, surviving most one-toughness sweepers and blunting an early clock while the life quietly climbs. That narrowing is the whole design decision: it offers no soft answer to opposing token strategies, so its value scales only with the density of bodies you can reliably chain into play yourself. In a shell that empties its hand three or four creatures at a time, it launders tempo into a life-total cushion, taxing the thing you were already doing into a resource rather than demanding you change the plan.
