Blight rewires what Elves have always pointed at: for decades the tribe counted for mana or for bodies, and here every Elf that enters counts as pressure on the opponent's own board instead. The trigger keys off entering the battlefield, not casting, which is the crucial hook for a tribe built on token-makers. A wave of Elf tokens that were never cast still each force each opponent to weaken one of their own creatures, so a go-wide start becomes a slow execution of everything small the opponent plays. Their toughness erodes one body at a time while your board stays whole.

The second half turns those scattered marks from a nuisance into a plan. Tapping three untapped Elves to proliferate deepens every blight already in play, and it does not discriminate: any counters you care about (loyalty, charge, saga chapters) climb in the same beat. Restricting the activation to your main phase is the honest price on repeatable proliferation stapled to a tribe that floods the board: no combat trick, no end-step surprise, only deliberate turn-by-turn compounding. The two abilities interlock. The enter triggers spread blight wide across the opponent's creatures; the activation sinks that damage deeper; and a 4/4 body keeps a clock ticking while the counters quietly do the killing. It is a lord that kills through attrition rather than adding to the swarm's math, which is a genuinely different axis for a tribe long defined by raw width.
