Harmonious Archon
A power-and-toughness anthem that cuts both ways, and the symmetry is the whole design gamble. Rather than pumping your team, it flattens the board: every non-Archon creature, yours and your opponents', becomes a base 3/3. That is a downgrade for the fatty deck and an upgrade for a swarm of tokens, which is exactly why the enters trigger hands you two 1/1 Humans on the way in: they arrive as 3/3s under the anthem, giving you an immediate stake in a world where nothing bigger than three matters. The static effect sets base stats rather than modifying them, so it overwrites rather than stacks, erasing the head start a five-power threat carried onto the battlefield and, just as usefully, converting a one-power mana dork into a 3/3 body that can suddenly block and attack. Play it against a deck built on cheap efficient bodies and you have donated stats to the enemy; play it as the ceiling of a go-wide plan and you have neutralized a rival's finisher while your board of small creatures suddenly hits like a wall of trucks. The Archon itself sits above the rule it enforces, a 4/5 flyer that keeps its own numbers while everything below it snaps to a grid. It is a rare kind of white effect that rewards building around the anthem's downside rather than its upside, and it punishes anyone who did not.
