A removal spell that scales off a resource you build yourself, and does it without leaving the black color pie. Cast Tempt with Treats first for a Food token, and you have quietly armed a life-gain trigger you control: crack the Food later to gain three, then land the creature and hand out a -3/-3 sized to exactly the life banked that turn. The kill is not pinned to a fixed number; it tracks whatever life you have gained by the time the enters trigger resolves, so the same card kills a mana dork early and answers a real threat once you have stockpiled some gain. Lifelink on the 3/2 body compounds the loop from there, feeding future life totals and raising the ceiling on any later -X/-X source you draw. Splitting the payoff across two separate casts is what keeps the swing from being a single explosive drop: you make the fuel, spend the fuel, and cash it into removal on your own clock, which demands patience the reward pays back. It is a compact piece of design where Food is not garnish but ammunition, one of the tidier answers to the question of what black's version of a Food payoff should actually reward.
