Galerider Sliver
Evasion is the resource a wide tribal board is always shortest on, and this grant solves it at the lowest possible cost. A swarm of small, redundant bodies wins races by getting over the ground as a group, and for most of the deck's history that meant reaching for Winged Sliver, the equivalent that costs a mana more for the same keyword. Pulling flying down to a single blue mana matters more than the one-mana saving suggests: it turns the anthem into a turn-one play, so every Sliver that follows arrives already evasive rather than waiting for a lord to land late. The grant is the cheap, fragile kind that only pays off once there are bodies to receive it: by itself this is a 1/1 flyer, but the tribal premise is that it never operates alone. The sharpness is in the timing leverage. Drop it before the opponent has blockers worth caring about and everything built on top of it is airborne by default, turning a stalled ground race into a clock that ignores the ground entirely. It is the smallest, fastest piece of the evasion package the strategy was always going to want.
