Gala Greeters

Creature — Elf Druid1 generic manaGreen mana

Every creature you play after this one hands you a small toolbox decision, and the "hasn't been chosen this turn" restriction is what makes those decisions matter: you cannot stack the same mode three times in a single busy turn, so a triple-token turn nets a +1/+1 counter, a Treasure, and two life rather than a runaway pile of counters. That spread is what keeps a 1/1 for two mana from spiraling while still paying off boards that flood out over several turns. The three modes are deliberately orthogonal, each pointing a different direction: the counter turns this into a threat, the tapped Treasure fixes and ramps for the next turn, and the two life buys breathing room against pressure. Repeated triggers turn every token, every second body, every recursive creature into a fresh choice, which is a surprising amount of accumulated decision-making from a two-mana value engine. The tapped Treasure is the detail worth flagging: it enters unusable that turn, so it feeds tomorrow's mana rather than enabling a burst this turn, nudging the card toward grindy incremental boards instead of explosive combo lines. Its ceiling scales precisely with how many bodies you can produce, and its floor is a chump blocker that occasionally gains you two life.
