Fated Firepower

Most red damage amplifiers are transactional: they resolve, add their bonus once, and disappear, or they demand a per-turn trigger to keep paying out. This one bolts a permanent, static modifier onto every source you control and leaves it there. The fire counters are set at cast, so the amount it adds starts at whatever you paid for, but the effect it grants is unconditional and repeatable: every combat swing, every burn spell, every ping from a source you control against an opponent or their permanents gets the same flat bonus stapled on top. What it adds tracks its current fire counters, not a multiplier: three fire counters means +3 damage per instance, whether that source was going to deal one or twenty. The flash clause is the sharp part. Because it ambushes at instant speed, you can hold it up through a blocking step, let an opponent commit to combat math they believe they understand, then flash it in and rewrite the damage on every one of your creatures at once. Structurally it is an anthem for damage rather than for power, which lets it layer onto trample, first strike, and repeated-damage engines in ways a raw stat buff cannot. The counter-based scaling is the balancing hinge: cheap copies add a little to a lot of sources, expensive ones turn a single hit into a kill, and you pay up front for exactly the size you want.
