False Prophet
A board wipe stapled to a creature whose timing you, in theory, control: kill it on your terms and exile every creature on the battlefield, including the rest of your own. The design tension is entirely in that word "exile." This is not a wrath you fire off whenever the board turns against you; it is a death trigger, which means you need a way to make this die at the right moment, and an opponent with a removal spell can spring the trap on you instead. The reward for jumping through that hoop is a sweep that gets under indestructibility and recursion alike: exile leaves no graveyard to rebuild from, no death triggers to bank, no Reanimate target waiting. Plenty of self-immolating effects in white settle for destroying or returning to hand; this one chose the most permanent verb available and paid for it with a fragile 2/2 shell and the surrender of your own board. Older sets were comfortable printing this brand of conditional, double-edged catastrophe: a button you have to earn the right to press, and one that hurts you nearly as much as the table when you finally do.
