The board wipe with an answer to its own worst matchup. Symmetrical destruction has always had one reliable counter: the opponent who invested in indestructibility, whether through a static effect like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, a sacrificed body's replacement, or a well-timed protection spell. This one strips that hedge off opposing permanents before the destruction resolves, so the shields that usually let a prepared player walk through a Wrath fall with everything else. What it does is run a two-step within a single sorcery: neutralize the countermeasure, then clear the table. That the indestructible-removal clause reads only for opponents' permanents is the tell that this is built for multiplayer politics, where one player's protective package should not be allowed to convert a global reset into a personal advantage. The cost is where the leash sits. At seven mana across two colors, it arrives late enough that the game state you are erasing is one both sides have spent real resources building, and its precision has limits: it answers indestructible specifically, not regeneration shields, and it leaves permanents that dodge destruction some other way untouched. It occupies the ceiling of the wrath spectrum: not the cheap, early reset that punishes aggression, but the expensive, definitive one that ends an arms race by refusing to let the best-defended board survive it.
