Erkenbrand, Lord of Westfold

The Rohan anthem that fires on a trigger rather than sitting static: instead of a passive +1/+0 lord effect, each Human that arrives snaps the whole team into attack size for the turn. That timing is the entire strategic axis. A static pump is always on and always known; this one is a reward for tempo, stacking with itself as bodies flood in, so a turn where three Humans hit the battlefield hands the board a +3/+0 swing that neither the defender nor a blocker-math calculation saw coming. It punishes players who try to trade profitably in combat, since the trigger resolves before damage and can be sequenced mid-combat by flashing or reanimating a Human after blocks. The design leans hard on go-wide Human decks where the pump compounds, not on the individual quality of any one creature; a single copy does little, but the fourth trigger in a chain turns a modest board into lethal. What keeps it honest is that the boost only touches power and only lasts until end of turn: it builds nothing permanent, so a swept board leaves nothing behind, and a defensive turn where no Humans enter is a turn the anthem simply does not exist.
