Enchantment Alteration

InstantBlue mana

A one-mana instant whose entire job is to move an Aura from one permanent to another, and the design constraints around that movement are doing more work than the rate suggests. The Aura has to be on a creature or a land, and it can only be reattached to another permanent of the same type. That symmetry is the clever bit: this is a tool for shifting an opponent's Control Magic onto a worthless creature of theirs, or pulling their Spreading Seas off your land and dropping it onto theirs, or rescuing your own Aura from a creature about to die by relocating it to a fresh body. Aura redirection as a category has barely been revisited since; most of the design space went to bounce, destruction, or hexproofing, and the rare modern attempts (Shielding Plax, Aura Graft) tend to lift Auras outright rather than swap their hosts. The card sits in the same era as the original suite of "answer specific permanent types" blue instants, when the color was still working out which sideboard problems it owned. The narrowness is the point: a cantrip-less, one-mana redirect that only matters in a board state where Auras are already doing meaningful work, which is a smaller window than blue usually asks for but a sharper one when it opens.
