A 2/4 with vigilance that loots on entry and on every attack, all of it pointed at a single number: fourteen cards in the graveyard. The design earns its payoff by making you commit to reaching that threshold rather than handing it to you, and every draw-then-discard both digs toward what you want and stocks the yard you are trying to fill. The flip is where the card's identity lives. Echo of the Lost converts the graveyard you spent the game building into a second hand you can play from during your turn, and the replacement clause quietly slams the door behind you: with the back face out, anything that would hit the graveyard is exiled instead, so the loot that carried you to fourteen no longer refuels the yard once you transform. You have turned a resource you were accumulating into a resource you are spending, and the transform is the point of no return between the two. That is the whole arc: build the graveyard, then stop feeding it and start emptying it before the exile clause strands the pieces you never cashed out. It rewards a deck that hits the threshold fast and drains it faster. The vigilance carries across both faces, so the body keeps holding the ground while all of this happens, but the real work is the phase change from a filler engine into a payoff you can only spend once.
