Eligeth, Crossroads Augur

Legendary Creature — Sphinx4 generic manaBlue manaBlue mana

Scry has always been card draw's poorer relation: you get to reorder your library and bury what you don't want, but your hand stays the same size. This Sphinx dissolves that distinction for its controller, rewriting every "scry N" you would perform into "draw N" instead. What makes the ability land is how broadly scry is distributed: it hangs off lands, cheap cantrips, combat triggers, and enters-the-battlefield abilities across every era of design, so the replacement effect fires constantly without asking you to build dedicated infrastructure. A scryland becomes a draw-a-card land; a cantrip that scries 2 now digs two cards into your hand. Partner signals a design built to pair with a second commander. The 5/6 flyer is close to incidental; you are not paying six mana for a body. You are installing a personal rule change that revalues an entire class of low-cost effects most builders have learned to underrate. It leans on an assumption baked into the game for years, that scry is the consolation prize, then quietly cashes it in for yourself.
