Elemental Eruption

Storm on a token-maker changes what the mechanic is being asked to do. The keyword was built for spells whose copies stack additively (a fistful of Grapeshot pings, a horde of Empty the Warrens goblins), where the payoff scales with raw count. Here each copy resolves into a discrete 4/4 flier, so the reward is not one big number but a board of independent evasive threats. The catch is what prowess can and cannot see: the spells that feed the storm count are cast before this one, so they inflate the number of Dragon Elementals you make but cannot pump bodies that do not yet exist. The pump comes afterward. Every noncreature spell you cast once the tokens have landed swings the whole squadron, which reframes this as a payoff that keeps paying for the rest of the turn rather than a single burst. The friction is the price tag: at six mana with double red, this is not the storm finisher you drop off early rituals, but a late haymaker for a deck that has already spent its turn slinging cheap spells and wants to convert that tempo into a flying army instead of a lump of damage. Where classic storm finishers want to win the turn they resolve, this one is content to assemble a board that wins next turn, nudging the archetype away from combo-kill and toward a token-aggro plan built on a repeatable, evasive payload.
