Dralnu's Crusade
A tribal anthem that doubles as a tribal-conversion engine, which is a stranger thing to design than a flat lord. The +1/+1 is the obvious half; the buried half is that all Goblins also become black and Zombies in addition to their other types. That rewrite applies to every Goblin in play, opponents' included, which is its own quiet wrinkle: a mirror or any board with red Goblins on both sides gets globally recolored, turning the enchantment into a clumsy form of shared interaction rather than a private buff. On your side, the color-and-type bend is doing work most lords never touch: it makes red Goblins legal targets for black tribal payoffs, changes what color-specific removal will hit, and layers Zombie synergies onto the Goblin chassis without asking you to run any actual Zombies. The tension is that none of this matters unless you want both halves at once, and almost no deck does: a Goblin deck rarely needs its creatures to be black Zombies, and a Zombie deck rarely runs enough Goblins to care about the anthem. It sits at the seam between two tribes that share a guild color but almost never share a deck, offering to weld them together for a body-sized bonus and a pile of type-line text that rarely pays off. An early cross-tribal experiment that reads as ambitious on paper and lands as a curiosity in practice.
