Divine Offering

Artifact removal with a rider that indexes directly to the mana value of the thing you just answered. The lifegain scales with the target's mana value, a quietly elegant way to make the same spell behave differently against early acceleration and late-game threats: a zero-cost mana rock like a Mox refunds nothing, so against turn-one artifacts the card is just a narrower Disenchant, while cracking a Disrupting Scepter refunds three and answering something on the order of Mindslaver refunds six. The big problem permanents pay for themselves twice over. Disenchant was already white's answer to artifacts and enchantments at the same rate; this card surrenders the enchantment half and buys back a rider tied to the target's size. That tradeoff (narrower coverage for a refund on the back end) is a template white instant-speed artifact hate has returned to repeatedly, with Revoke Existence, Return to Dust, and Forsake the Worldly all running variations on the same negotiation. The lifegain here makes the most honest case for the bargain because the math is transparent: the refund is proportional to investment, and it is bolted onto a spell that still needs an artifact to point at, so it is as dead in hand against an artifact-less board as any other targeted answer. There is no independent value to lean on, only the sliding scale that turns answering an expensive artifact into a swing of life totals stacked on top of the removal.
