Dinosaurs on a Spaceship

The suspend clause is the joke made mechanical. Cast for its full cost, this is a 7/7 with vigilance and trample that hands the same two keywords plus a stat bump to the rest of your Dinosaurs: a flat, functional lord for a tribe that has never wanted for beef. Suspend it instead, and the four time counters become a countdown that spits out a 2/2 flyer with haste each time one ticks away. That reframes the whole card. Suspend costs less up front but delays the body four turns, so the Dinosaur that eventually resolves arrives having already assembled a small aerial squad along the way, and haste on the tokens means each one attacks the turn it appears. It is a rare case where the "wait for it" cost is not pure downside: the payoff accrues during the wait rather than after it. The tension the design resolves is that big tribal lords are usually all-or-nothing (great once they connect, dead weight if removed the turn they land), and suspend hedges that by making the exile window itself productive. Kill the creature after it resolves and you still banked the fliers; the aggression is front-loaded into the countdown instead of gated behind the body surviving. It is unusual to see a lord whose most aggressive version of itself is the one that hasn't entered the battlefield yet.
