Myriad has always been an anthem mechanic waiting to happen. As a keyword granted to a single creature, its ceiling is capped by that one body attacking into a multiplayer table; the token copies it spawns are only ever as threatening as the creature carrying it. This is the payoff that removes the cap. By stapling myriad to every nonlegendary artifact creature you control, it turns a wide artifact board into a fork bomb, where each attacker duplicates itself for every opponent beyond the defending player and those copies vanish at end of combat. The exile clause on the tokens is the pressure valve: nothing sticks around, so the effect is a one-turn spike in damage rather than a permanent army, and it rewards committing to a full swing rather than hoarding. The multiplayer requirement is the other honest limit; against a single opponent, the granted keyword does nothing, because there is no additional player to copy toward. What makes the design sit right is the alignment of costs. The body is expensive and mechanical rather than efficient, and its whole value lives in the board you have already assembled, so it functions as a top-end capstone for an artifact-token deck rather than a card you cast on curve. Copy every attacker across the table at once, then watch the tokens evaporate before anyone can profit from what you built.
