Curse of Conformity
Most board-neutralizing effects reach for the creatures themselves: shrink, freeze, or wrath what is already down, then wear off. This one aims its rule at a player and stays put, applying not just to the creatures present but to every one that follows as long as the aura hangs on. The design does two distinct jobs at once. It flattens a board of oversized threats: a row of 6/6s and 8/8s collapses to uniform 3/3s, and any equipment or anthem math built on a specific power figure gets recalculated downward. And it quietly dismantles anything leaning on creature types; stripping them leaves lords' abilities with nothing to find, darkens type-matters triggers, and folds changeling tricks. Note what it leaves untouched: static, activated, and triggered abilities survive, so a body that taps for value or sacrifices for a drain keeps doing that work at 3/3. The nonlegendary clause is what pays for the reach: commanders and other legends walk right through, so the enchanted player keeps their marquee threat while the supporting cast is homogenized. That makes this a persistent tax rather than a hard answer, better suited to blunting a tribal engine or a stompy board than removing a single problem. The base-power-and-toughness wording matters too: it sets the 3/3 base before other modifiers apply, so counters and buffs still stack on top, and small tokens actually grow into it while the giants get cut down.
