Crypt Sliver
Slivers have always traded in shared keywords (Muscle Sliver hands out the pump, Winged Sliver hands out evasion), but resilience is the rarer gift, and this one distributes it as an activated, repeatable trick rather than a passive buff. The regeneration is not free toughness; it costs a tap from any Sliver on the board, which means every member of the team doubles as a potential bodyguard for the most important one. Against a board wipe that deals damage or destroys rather than exiling, the math gets interesting fast: a wide Sliver board can shield several of its own from a single sweep, each saved Sliver costing only the tap of a friend. That redundancy is the point of the tribe expressed defensively. Where most Slivers make the army hit harder or dodge blockers, this one makes the army hard to kill, and because the granted ability lives on all Slivers (including itself and any printed later), a single copy quietly upgrades the whole archetype's relationship with removal. The 1/1 body is incidental; the value is in turning a fragile, all-eggs-in-one-basket tribal swarm into something that absorbs targeted kill spells and survives the lesser wraths.
