Crosis, the Purger

The Grixis member of the allied-and-enemy Dragon Legend cycle that announced what three colors could buy in the era three-color gold cards first went flagship, built to grind an opponent's hand to dust. Connect once and the trigger asks for a small black tax: pay it, name a color, and strip every card of that color from their hand. The catch sits in the sequencing. You name the color before the hand is revealed, so the discard is a read rather than a calculation: you are betting on what the opponent holds instead of reacting to it. Against a mono-color or two-color deck the guess is nearly free; the deeper their color spread, the more you are gambling on naming the right pile. That gap between guess and information is what gives the ability its texture. None of it is load-bearing, which keeps the design coherent: the body is a 6/6 flier that closes games on its own, and the discard is a recurring bonus layered over an evasive threat rather than a fragile engine you have to assemble and protect. The per-hit repayment stops it from snowballing too violently, and the flying means the trigger comes back online almost every combat unless the opponent finds something to hold the air. A six-mana Dragon that goes over the ground and empties hands by color, sold as a marquee argument for stacking three colors into one threat.
