Grixis
The plane that turns your graveyard into an engine, then hands you someone else's. Unearth was the shard's signature mechanic in Alara: pay the mana cost to bring a creature back for one hasty swing before it exiles itself. This plane retrofits that keyword onto every blue, black, or red creature card sitting in your yard, at a cost equal to its printed mana cost, so the entire Grixis color pie becomes a bank of one-shot beaters you can spend on demand. It reads as a self-only effect until the second line changes the target: when chaos ensues on the planar die, you pull a creature from any graveyard, not just yours, and it stays. That is the tension baked into the design. The passive is a personal, disposable resource; the chaos payoff is a permanent theft with no color restriction and no exile clause attached. The plane rewards the exact deck Grixis was built to be (a value-grind attrition machine that treats death as a temporary state) while dangling a much larger reward on the roll of the die. The unearth grant does most of the work; the chaos trigger is the jackpot that occasionally lets you steal the best thing anyone at the table has managed to kill.
