Crash the Party

Instant5 generic manaGreen mana

The payoff hides in a word most players read past: tapped. The token count keys off creatures you already have turned sideways, so this is built for the deck that spends its board as a matter of course: convoke shells, tap-to-activate engines, aggressive swarms that just declared attackers. Cast it mid-combat after attacks are locked in and every attacker counts, doubling your presence before damage resolves. The design is a deliberate inversion of the usual token spell, which pays a flat rate for a fixed number. Here the mana is a floor and the tapped-creature count is the ceiling, so the payoff scales with a resource most decks treat as pure liability. Untapped creatures contribute nothing, which is what stops it from being a free blowout: you have to have committed or spent something first to earn the swarm. Note that the Rhinos arrive tapped, so they are not a surprise wall; they are reinforcements for next turn, not this combat's blockers. That is the honest cost of the effect. It rewards a committed board rather than a full hand, converting the tempo you already paid to attack or activate into raw material, and it turns the moment of maximum vulnerability (tapped out, everything sideways) into the moment of maximum reward.
