Cascading Cataracts

Land

Most five-color fixing pays for its flexibility with friction: lands enter tapped, cost life, or demand a basic to fetch. This one inverts the deal. It taps for colorless freely, then offers a second, repeatable mode that converts five generic mana into five mana of any colors you choose, a filter that scales to the largest spells in the deck rather than just smoothing the first few turns. The function is conversion, not consumption: you feed it mana the deck already has and it hands back the colors a five-color spell demands, which makes it most useful in decks whose mana base outpaces their access to the right pips. The indestructible clause is the quiet load-bearing piece. It descends from the line of indestructible utility lands built to survive the sweepers and land destruction common to their era, so it slots into strategies that lean on mass removal without losing a fixing source to their own board wipes. The trade is steep: until you can afford the five-mana activation, the land does nothing for your colors at all, which punishes a draw that stumbles on a color it cannot produce and rewards a deck with the mana density to reach that activation cleanly. It is fixing tuned for a long game, where the cost of the conversion is one a developed board can pay and the payoff is casting whatever the moment calls for.
