Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger
A counter-doubler dressed as an evergreen keyword suite. The three keywords stacked on the front (flying, double strike, indestructible) make this a finisher on rate alone: eight points of evasive, resilient damage that a board wipe cannot answer. But the second ability is the reason to build around it. Any counter you place on a non-Kree creature (a +1/+1 from a proliferate engine, a keyword counter from an anthem, a shield counter, an oil counter, whatever the deck is manufacturing) gets copied onto Captain Marvel for free. The trigger is deliberately narrow in one direction and wide in another: it fires only on other creatures, and only non-Kree ones, so the card cannot loop off counters placed on itself, but it does not care what kind of counter is involved. Most counter payoffs in these colors reward a single counter type; this one is type-agnostic, which turns any incidental counter synergy into a growth engine on a body that already wins fights. The Kree exemption is the balancing clause that keeps the ability from being a runaway feedback loop across a tribal shell: your own Kree do not feed the trigger, forcing the counters to come from the rest of the battlefield. It is a design that asks you to spread counters wide and then quietly funnels a copy of each back onto the one creature that can least afford to be blocked.
