A mill deck grinds forty cards in a duel and hundreds across a pod, and every enabler is priced by how big a chunk it can carve off that number. This 1/4 rewrites the ceiling by doubling every increment an opponent mills, and the wording carries more weight than the effect first suggests. It does not tack on a flat number; it multiplies the count at the exact moment the mill happens, so it scales with whatever you were already doing. A spell that mills four now mills eight. A recurring engine trimming two per turn trims four. Because the doubling is a replacement effect applied at the point of the mill, stacking two of these compounds rather than adds: bypass the legend rule with a clone and each replacement feeds the next, quadrupling every mill. The honest weakness is structural: alone, it mills nothing. It is pure amplification, a multiplier hunting for a base value, so it belongs in a shell already built to attack libraries rather than one hoping to splash the plan. The 4 toughness is the design tell that the intent was understood: a rump that shrugs off most incidental removal and holds a ground stall while the real work happens elsewhere. For an archetype long stuck one enabler short of lethal, this is the piece that turns a slow grind into a fast clock without ever touching a card in your own library.
