The transform card that flips the meek side into the payoff, rather than the other way around. Bruce Banner sits on the battlefield as a fragile 1/1 draw engine, sinking mana into repeatable card advantage while nothing about him threatens a board. The flip is a deliberate act (a six-mana sorcery-speed investment in 2 generic manaRed manaRed manaGreen manaGreen mana), which frames the whole design as a wind-up: bank cards, then commit to the swing. The Incredible Hulk pays it off by turning the game's most self-punishing mechanic against the person triggering it. Enrage on a creature normally means "hit it and it gets worse to have hit," but here the reward stacks past the counter itself: damage to an attacking Hulk untaps him and grants an additional combat phase. Because the ability triggers on the damage event rather than per point, a single blocker or a single burn spell aimed at him during his attack still hands you the whole package: a bigger body, untapped, with another combat step to spend it in. That inverts the usual defensive calculus of blocking or trading into an enrage creature; the correct answer to the Hulk attacking is often to take the hit rather than feed him. Reach and trample fill in the practical corners (he threatens fliers, and he does not politely stop at a chump blocker), but the engine is the loop between enrage and the extra combat. The two faces are two different games entirely: one asks how many cards you can draw before you are ready, the other asks your opponent how many times they can afford to leave you standing.
