Broodmate Tyrant
The obvious lineage is Broodmate Dragon, the Jund gold card that handed you two 4/4 flyers for six mana and earned its Commander keep on doubling alone. This reworks the template around Encore, and the swap changes what the card is for. On the way in it still drops a 5/5 flyer alongside itself, but the second life is where the design goes wide: exiling it from the graveyard to make a copy for each opponent, each swinging at that player before being sacrificed at end of turn. The trick is that the copies die, but their enter triggers do not, so every temporary Encore Dragon leaves a permanent 5/5 flyer behind. Against a full table that is a wave of attackers plus a lasting board, all in one activation. So the front half is a value creature and the back half is a graveyard-fueled second wind that pays out twice: an alpha strike now, a fleet of tokens after. The cost keeps it honest. Encore is a hefty investment and can only fire once, so the timing question is when the burst of flying attackers can actually convert, not whether the card sticks around; the token remnants ensure it does. The recur route runs through the graveyard as much as the battlefield, which is the real departure from the original: the doubling Dragon wanted to live, this one is happy to die and come back bigger.
