Bloodtithe Harvester
Aggressive black-red decks have long wrestled with a curve problem: the two-drop slot wants both a body that attacks and a spell that clears a blocker, and one card rarely does both without falling behind on rate. This 3/2 solves it by folding the removal into its back half rather than paying for a separate card. It arrives with a Blood token, quiet card selection you can cash in whenever the game grinds, and that same token feeds the shrink line: because the creature already made one Blood, the debuff starts at -2/-2 (enough to kill most early creatures) and climbs by two for every additional Blood you control. Two costs keep the engine honest. The shrink is sorcery-speed, so the Harvester cannot sit back and answer an opponent's threat at instant speed; the kill has to be scheduled around your own tempo. And firing it means tapping and sacrificing the creature itself, a one-way trade that stops the token economy from snowballing into free point removal. What lands is a two-drop with almost no dead draws: it curves out as a threat, filters toward gas against control, and converts into a kill spell against other creature decks, all without demanding more than a handful of Blood makers alongside it.
