Basri Ket

A go-wide planeswalker built to reward an attack rather than to protect itself, which is the wrinkle that makes it read differently from most three-loyalty walkers. The plus grows one creature and hands it indestructible until end of turn; since loyalty abilities fire at sorcery speed on your own turn, that indestructibility is offense, not defense. It lets a lone creature push through a block or survive a sweeper you cast alongside it, not a way to threaten trades on the opponent's turn. The minus is the design centerpiece: it counts every nontoken attacker and makes that many Soldiers tapped and attacking, so it pays out largest exactly when you already have the wide board it is asking for. That is the tension the card resolves. A planeswalker's minus is usually a defensive brake or a value swing; here it is an offensive multiplier that folds directly into a combat step you were already committing to, doubling the crew and rewarding a full commit. The emblem stacks a Soldier and a team-wide counter at the beginning of combat on each of your turns, turning a stalled game into a clock. What holds it together is that none of the three abilities does much in a vacuum: each wants creatures on the battlefield and an attack step to point them at. As a white aggro anchor, that is the point. It is a walker for the deck that was going to swing regardless, adding bodies and counters to a plan already in motion rather than inventing one of its own.
