Barroom Brawl

A fight spell hard-coded to a seat, which is the joke and the design at once. Green has had cheap fight effects for years, and their limitation is that they only resolve one interaction at a time. This one hands the mechanic across the table: after your creature and the creature to your left trade blows, that opponent may copy the spell and, choosing new targets under the same seat-based restriction, aim it at their own left-hand neighbor. What reads as symmetry is really a negotiation. You choose the opening fight, but the targeting is not free: the spell forces you to fight a creature controlled by the opponent to your left, so you cannot pick a mutual threat elsewhere on the board. They then choose the retaliation, and the copy is optional, so a player who does not want to open a second fight can simply decline. The whole engine sags without a defined turn order and multiple opponents, because in that context the copy is real leverage rather than a formality: the payment for the effect is inviting your neighbor to do the same thing back to someone. It rewards reading the whole table rather than just your own hand. Whether the left-hand player copies the spell to open a fight against their own neighbor is a decision you have handed away. This is fight designed as table politics, not as a two-player removal option, even if the copy still resolves at a smaller table.
