The floor is one card and a Plant: even from an empty board you make a token and draw at least once, because the Plant you just created counts as a name. That guaranteed replacement gives green a rare clean refill that never rots dead in your hand when you fall behind. But the payoff scales on distinct token names, not raw token count, so a board of ten identical Saprolings still reads as a single line. The counting rule quietly rewrites what a token deck wants to be: not one efficient mass-producer stamping out copies, but a spread that spans Beasts, Insects, Servos, Soldiers, whatever, each contributing exactly one to the tally. That is the deckbuilding cost the card charges before it pays out big. Green has always been able to flood a board; assembling a wide variety of named bodies is a different discipline, and this asks for breadth rather than volume. The result is a draw spell that looks like nothing in a vacuum and turns into a fistful of cards in a deck built to feed it, with the 0/1 body doing quiet double duty as a chump blocker and as the token that guarantees the floor.
