Assemble the Players

Enchantment1 generic manaWhite mana

Card advantage engines that fire off your library's peak have usually cost more, done less, or asked you to jump through hoops: Future Sight let you see and play everything but sat at four mana; Vizier of the Menagerie only broke the ceiling on mana, not on card count. This one narrows the aperture to creatures with power 2 or less and caps the payoff at one cast per turn, and that pair of restrictions is what buys the two-mana price. The power ceiling is doing quiet double duty: it excludes the fat finishers you would most want to cheat and steers the effect toward the small, cheap, high-density bodies a go-wide board wants anyway, so the card rewards a deck already built around the exact creatures it lets you see. The permanent visibility is the part that changes how you sequence: you always know whether your draw step is a hit, which lets you hold up other lines or dig with impunity, and it turns every fetch, scry, or surveil into a way to arrange the next several casts. It refuses to be a raw card-advantage button and instead functions as a slow, reliable tap that keeps a token or small-creature deck from running out of gas, one body at a time.
