Enchantment — Aura2 generic manaBlue manaBlue mana

Stealing a land for four mana is a steep ask for a single mana source, which is why this descends not from removal but from Control Magic and its kin: theft auras priced against the value of what they take rather than what they cost you. The wrinkle is the object of the theft. Most theft spells aimed at the biggest, scariest permanent on the board; this one aims at the quietest. A basic yields nothing worth four mana, but a land producing more than colorless mana, a creature-land, or any of the build-around lands that have proliferated since this kind of effect first appeared becomes a target worth the tempo. The aura also strips the opponent of that land's contribution for as long as it stays attached, a slow grind rather than a swing, since you are not removing a threat so much as transplanting a resource. That gap between the cost and the typical payoff is why it so rarely earns its slot: it asks the board to already contain a land worth stealing, and most boards do not oblige. The design idea is clean (theft scaled to the object's worth), but it lands on the least valuable object on most tables, which is at once why it reads as elegant and why the spell mostly sits idle in hand.
