Animal Friend

Voltron builds usually pile Auras and Equipment onto a creature to make it bigger; this one flips the arithmetic outward, reading the attachments already on the body and converting them into board width instead. Every attacking swing spins off a Squirrel, and that Squirrel's size is a direct census of the enchantments and gear you have stacked on top (excluding this Aura itself), so the same fistful of buffs that would normally overcommit into a single removal-vulnerable threat now pays a second dividend in bodies. Because the token and its counters both arrive from the same attack trigger, the reward scales with how thoroughly the attacker is already suited up: the card wants you to develop your pile of Auras and Equipment first, then start swinging into a widening army. That makes it a bridge piece between two archetypes that rarely share a shell, the go-wide token deck and the go-tall enchantress deck, and the Squirrel tribe it feeds into gives the width somewhere to go. The tension is that its whole payoff is contingent on the attached stack surviving to the combat step: doubling down on one creature makes the plan more explosive and more fragile at once. Enchant a creature that can attack the turn this lands and the dividend starts immediately, but the more you have invested in the body, the more a single removal spell costs you. Whether that trade is worth it is precisely the question every Voltron pilot is already answering.
