Defensive stat lines have always been a liability on attack: the toughness that keeps a creature alive in the red zone contributes nothing to the damage it deals, so a wall stays a wall. This Treefolk rewrites that math for your whole board, letting any creature whose toughness outstrips its power swing for its back number instead of its front one. The design turns a defensive keyword deck's dead stat into offense, and it asks for company to matter: a lone 1/4 does little, but a table of high-toughness bodies (defenders, ramp-adjacent walls, the fat-and-slow end of green and black) suddenly hits like a real curve. It does nothing for the aggressive creatures that already put power first, which is the natural governor on the effect; it only pays out for the creatures that were built wrong-way-round to begin with. Doran, the Siege Tower and Assault Formation asked the same question about whether toughness could carry a game plan, but each made toughness the entire damage rule for everyone. This one is narrower and stranger: it only redirects for creatures already lopsided toward defense, leaving your genuinely balanced or aggressive bodies untouched. That specificity is the point. The card wakes up only once the deck has been built around the wall-tribal premise, an engine piece assembled entirely out of things that were never supposed to attack.
