Assault Formation
Walls have always been the game's standing joke: enormous toughness, zero offense, a creature type that exists to absorb hits and apologize. This is the enchantment that flips the joke into an axis. By making every creature you control assign combat damage equal to its toughness instead of its power, it turns a defensive stat into a clock, and the ability removes the last obstacle by letting a defender swing as though it never had the keyword. A 0/6 stops being a speed bump: it still hits the battlefield as a 0/6 for survival math, but in combat it deals six. That precision is what makes the design hold together. It does not swap power and toughness wholesale; it redirects only how damage is assigned, so your creatures keep their printed toughness for combat and removal math while that same number doubles as their output. The
activated ability, a team-wide +0/+1, is the quiet linchpin: under the static effect, raising toughness is simultaneously raising the team's damage, so a defensive pump becomes a way to push through blockers and race. One redirection reorients an entire stat: it is the engine behind every high-toughness build that wants to win rather than merely refuse to lose.
