Aminatou, the Fateshifter

The plus ability draws and then reburies a card, which is not net advantage: it is a delivery system, feeding your next draw exactly what a topdeck-dependent line needs, arming a miracle cost, or stashing a card you want to hold in reserve. The minus-one is the real engine, a remarkably clean blink template stapled to loyalty: exile another permanent you own and return it under your control, resetting enter-the-battlefield triggers, shedding counters, dropping auras. It goes on the stack like any loyalty ability, so a patient opponent can respond by removing the target before it flickers, but on your own turn, unmolested, it becomes a repeatable value loop with any permanent that pays you for arriving. The ultimate is pure Vorthos chaos, a wheel of everyone's board shunted one seat over, but you rarely need to reach it; the blink defines how the card plays. What makes this a distinct building block is where it puts flicker. Flicker had always been a spell you cast, a moment of value spent from the hand. Here it becomes a resource that accrues on the battlefield, refreshed each turn from a permanent that survives sweepers and sticks around between activations. That shift, from flicker-as-instant to flicker-as-standing-engine, is the design idea worth building a deck around, and it is why Aminatou reads less like a walker and more like an infrastructure piece for anything that wants to reuse its own permanents.
