Acid Web Spider
Green's deep bench of artifact-destroying creatures (Viridian Shaman, Reclamation Sage, Acidic Slime) mostly hits any artifact, so the narrowed scope here is the unusual part: this one answers Equipment specifically, and the body is built to capitalize on exactly that restriction. The destroy trigger lines up with the situation it's meant to punish, because the turn an opposing weapon arrives is the turn you most want a wall to throw under it. A 3/5 with reach absorbs whatever just got buffed, on the ground or in the air, then keeps holding the fort after the Equipment is gone. The destroy clause is a "may," so the card never sits dead in hand against opponents running no gear: with nothing to eat, it's still a sturdy blocker that stonewalls early aggression and traps fliers. That's the whole bargain of stapling situational hate to a creature worth playing on rate. The trade-off built into the narrow target is that this won't touch a mana rock, a Signet, or a noncreature threat the way a Reclamation Sage will; it pays for that loss of flexibility with a tougher body and a clean role on defense. Removal you fold into a blocker you wanted anyway, aimed at the one artifact subtype that most often shows up attached to a creature you'd rather not let connect.
