Atraxa, Praetors' Voice has been the most-played Commander since 2016. The reason isn't her body, though four power and trample is no joke for four mana. The reason is the second-to-last line of her text box. Every turn, proliferate: every loyalty counter ticks up, every poison counter ticks toward lethal, every +1/+1 widens the gap between her board and the table's. The build below leans into the long game, with heavy interaction, every premium tutor, and a manabase that prizes color stability over speed. The goal is not to win on turn five. It is to make turn ten look unsurvivable.
