As a black 2/3 with a regeneration outlet, the baseline is a stubborn blocker that survives most combat and sweepers; the upside is a recurring evasive body that punishes a stalled board. What lifts it past its rate is how cleanly it dramatizes the snow supertype's central wager: a mechanic that wants both players to invest in the same resource pool, then pays out to whoever committed harder. Most snow payoffs sit on the controller's side of the table alone and reward you regardless of what your opponent is doing.
