Zinnia, Valley's Voice
Two design ideas share one Jeskai body, and neither is the obvious one for a token deck. The first is a payoff that reads the board sideways: the more one-power creatures you assemble, the harder Zinnia swings, turning a wide bench of mana dorks and small utility bodies into a scaling clock rather than dead weight. The second is the engine that fills that bench, handing every creature spell you cast an optional offspring cost so each one can leave behind a 1/1 copy of itself. The wrinkle is how cleanly the two halves feed each other: offspring manufactures token copies of your best creatures, and because those copies are 1/1s, they immediately fatten Zinnia's power. A body that pumps off small creatures paired with an ability that mints small creatures on demand is a self-referential loop, and it reframes the deck around cheap, high-value creatures whose one-power stat line becomes a feature rather than a downgrade. The tension the design resolves is that "go wide" and "hit hard" usually pull against each other: wide boards trade breadth for punch, beaters trade punch for board presence. Zinnia routes around that by counting the little bodies as the punch, letting a swarm double as a threat while three toughness and flying keep the counter alive long enough to matter.
