Redirection with a lottery ticket stapled to it. The floor is already a serviceable trick: for at instant speed, you can seize any spell or ability that targets and point it wherever you like, turning an opponent's removal back onto their own board or bending a beneficial targeted ability onto yourself. That much is guaranteed. Note the constraint doing the heavy lifting: the spell must have one or more targets, so this never touches a Wrath of God or a Cultivate. It answers Doom Blade, hijacks a fight spell, redirects a copied Fireball. What the d20 buys is the upside: hit fifteen or higher and the redirected spell gets copied with fresh targets on the copy, so a single point of removal becomes two answers, or an opposing burn spell splits into a double blowout. The clever hinge is that the roll adds the greatest power among your creatures, which quietly converts the card from a coin flip into a scaling payoff: with a large threat already down, the copy is close to automatic, and the reversal half stops being the whole point. That coupling is the design at work, tying the variance of a d20 to something a red deck is already trying to do (put a big creature on the table), so the randomness narrows exactly when you have committed to the board. The redirection stays useful when the roll disappoints; the copy is the jackpot you build toward rather than pray for.
