Wondrous Revival

Sorcery4 generic manaWhite manaWhite mana

Mass reanimation has always been priced by the exception clause: Living Death gives it to everyone including your opponents, Rise of the Dark Realms costs nine and takes anything, and the color pie usually forces white to buy its returns individually, at a premium, with strings attached. This narrows the target to Hero creatures and gets three of them back for six, no life payment, no random selection, no downside beyond the type restriction. That restriction is doing all the balancing work: outside a deck built densely around the Hero type, the card returns nothing, and inside one it functions less like a haymaker and more like a rebuild button after a board wipe. The white-recursion tradition it descends from tends to loop small utility creatures on repeat (Sun Titan, Reveillark, the recurring Karmic Guide engines); this collapses that into a single sorcery that reassembles a whole battlefield's worth of enters-the-battlefield triggers and combat threats at once. The design bet is that a tribe narrow enough to gate the effect is also a tribe cohesive enough to make three simultaneous returns swing a game, which is precisely the kind of closed-loop payoff that only works when the type line is the deckbuilding constraint rather than an afterthought.
